Remembering Bill Gilbert
Dr. William (Bill) R. Gilbert II was a dedicated Board Member of NCCJ St. Louis for over two decades, including time as Board Chair and membership in multiple committees. He continued his service as the GEI Board Treasurer following the merger of NCCJ St. Louis and Diversity Awareness Partnership. Bill was profoundly dedicated to positive change through science, the arts, extensive anti-bias work, and volunteering with organizations working to meet people's basic needs. You can read more about Bill's legacy of leadership and community here. He is remembered by the GEI Board and team as a person who seemed to know everyone in town and truly lived the work everywhere he went. We will continue to honor Bill's memory.
